Excitement, Pressure and life in the Fast Lane

LIfe in the Fast Lane! I'm not the only one on this internet or in the world moving in the fast lane, the truth is most of us are. Yes you me him and her. I mean there may be a few slower folks down in the deep deep south but thats cool to. I'm just saying how often do we over extend ourselves? Over Commit.

I know i got so much going on you could ask me to type it all up i would hae to make like 50 revisions and i still would have forgotten something. It leaves little or no time for me to do some of the things i love or i dont have time to spend with a family member. Its tough. Life.

I'm planning on working this out so I can make a change, stay organized and leave the stress aside as i accomplish my planned goals and live life to the fullest.

moe.down is coming

Thats right, Summer is ending, and the last official party of the year is moe.down. It's a 3 day music festival put on by one of the most talented bands I have ever listened to (moe.). Their music has really influenced me, and for the past 6 years i have been celebrating labor day weekend with them, and my good friends from Utica.

This years moe.down is even more special, It might be my last one, the wife and I are considering bringing a new little SayJumner into this world. That means i will have to give up a lot. It wont mean I'll stop being influenced by moe. and their music, but I won't want to bring my children to the festival for obvious reasons. Other rumors are that they will not be having moe.down in Turin, NY anymore and may move the festival to Virginia. That would be to far for me to go. I'm sure the fun will never end, and slowing down feels about right now in my life.

We will be celebrating this with the end of Camp Utica, a place in the woods on the top of the hill, we've camped there almost 4 years in a row, and after last years mud.down most of my friends and I are renting RV's and or campers to use for the weekend. It will make it possible to have a fun time no matter what the weather.

I Hope moe. plays all my favorite songs and I don't get to drunk to miss a second of their shows. I definetly want to hear the following songs. Wind it Up, Buster, Crab Eyes, Rebubula, Brent Black, Tamborine, Mexico, Nebraska, and Happy Hour Hero. If I hear those songs i will be very happy. It will make me happy to have had this 6 year run with the band.

My Explanation Blog

This is going to be my explanation blog, hopefully I don't have to edit it with changes as my life progresses. It should be a pretty good reference tool for People who may not understand why I typed what I typed. Or what it is that makes me think I'm so different or opinionated and special. It can be reassurance to you that I AM SANE and not some crazy lunatic with a MAC. I am a person, like you and I can listen to reason and will, but I will rant, spell things wrong and possibly miss quote or, I guess put my foot in mouth from time to time. So Accept it now or don't, and get off and don't read any more of my blogs.

I'm from Utica, NY, I have been born and raised here, and I am here to stay. When I wrote this blog I was 30, so you do the math if you must. I'm an artist, a graphic designer to be more specific. It Pays the bills. It's funny, because when I was maybe in 3rd grade I told my mother that I wanted to be the guy who made the cereal box designs. Well I wasn't just dreaming, I'll admit I got caught up in traditional art, painting, sculpting and what ever, but growing up in Utica I got caught up in lots of stuff. But I have no regrets and my questionable experiments with mind expansion have only see to help me thus far.

With expansion in mind I never settled for just manipulating graphics I soon learned to design websites and I feel I am a great web designer as well. It feels good to know I could better myself. Now I continue to learn as many new things as I can. Right now I'm neck deep in SEO and trying to learn as much about it as I can.

I still need to help you though, Those things mentioned above are still not a good enough explanation of why your back linking to this blog. First off I feed birds, If you know me you know this, I might not for ever but I do now. As I said earlier I live just outside Utica, NY. Its a small city, best known for for its great beer nice people and maybe you heard of the Boilermaker road race but there is a lot of stuff to do here if your me. Still some things suck, we don't have a decent newspaper the OD really sucks and I don't feel like I get quality local news from them.

I am to tired to continue but promise I will edit this and add more about me and update it if something major changes. Feel free to ask questions in my comment section. I will answer. Check this blog for I will be adding to this one and creating blogs on the as often as i can.
